Vrsinje is a village in the municipality of Milići, located approximately 13 km southeast of Vlasenica as the crow flies.
Begina Zaglavica Necropolis, Vrsinje, Milići
This necropolis was first recorded by Bešlagić, who listed 17 medieval tombstones; however, that inventory was incomplete and inaccurate because he did not visit the site in person, relying instead on data provided by R. Mišić, a teacher from Milići.
Correction of earlier records: The Begina Zaglavica necropolis represents an exceptionally valuable and beautiful site that actually contains 29 medieval tombstones in the form of gabled roofs, chests, and a smaller number of stelae. The majority of the medieval tombstones are situated in the unkept yard of a private house, where chicken coops and auxiliary wooden sheds have been built directly over them. Some of the medieval tombstones are damaged, while one chest, located on the opposite side of the road, has been displaced from its original position. Several medieval tombstones are decorated with motifs of crescent moons, suns, anthropomorphic crosses, and other decorative elements. They are oriented in northeast–southwest and northwest–southeast directions.
Unrecorded Vujadini Necropolis, Vrsinje, Milići
Located near the house of Savo Vujadin, this necropolis contains 11 medieval tombstones in the form of chests, gabled roofs, and one stela, and was previously unrecorded. The primary orientation of the medieval tombstones is northwest–southeast, although most have been displaced from their original positions over time. None of the monuments bear decorative motifs.
