The Foundation “Heritage Watchdogs – Bassania” proudly announces that the Grabičje necropolis, located between the villages of Barmiš and Hasanovići in the municipality of Konjic, has been successfully cleared.
Our dedicated member Dževad from Hasanovići devoted the weekend to this important effort, cleaning the necropolis, which contains 50 medieval tombstones of various forms – sljemenjak, chest, and slab – some of which are decorated.
Next weekend, cleaning of the neighboring Pomenica necropolis is planned, continuing the work to preserve this valuable cultural-historical heritage.
On this occasion, the Foundation “Heritage Watchdogs – Bassania” congratulates all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Statehood Day, November 25th, with the message that through joint efforts, we preserve our rich heritage for future generations.
