Kljuna – Nevesinje

The necropolis of medieval tombstones in the village of Kljuna is located on a hill next to an active Muslim graveyard. It consists of 20 medieval tombstones, eight of which are slab-shaped and twelve are chest-shaped.

The medieval tombstones are well-crafted, but today they are largely sunken into the ground or covered with sediment. The orientation of the monuments is west-east. Four slabs are decorated, with motifs of a border of curled vines with trefoils and rosettes within circular wreaths.
